#LFC supporters. Is Liverpool going to come back in for Isak or not? If so, are they leaving it VERY late so they can squeeze the price with a "take it or leave it" offer? Asking out of curiosity, not animosity. #NUFC

Who knows at this point? From my personal view we tested the water with £110m opening offer (which, despite what the media narrative has been is nothing to be sniffed at as an opening bid) but the response was so adamant that we walked away leaving it to NUFC to open the door if they wanted to.

I dont know if that door has actually been opened again yet. Maybe both are hoping to take it down to the wire to push the other either up or down on negotiations?

I expect it’s all done and has been as far back as the first offer £110m + add-one. Newcastle simply rejected it as they did not have replacements lined up, the LFC walk away line was to buy time, as soon as they do they will do the deal.
