It has a huge amount to answer for but I think reality TV (so called) has been a big contributor to where we are. Shows that glorify lying, cheating and backstabbing and are about a faked image shifts people's perceptions. Not just in America by the way.

The polling says that he is unpopular even with the Magas and he has the personal warmth of a Velociraptor. No one is buying a giant Vance flag for their truck or boat and no one is going to be walking around with Vance tattoos.
