I think that part could be inoffensive if they mean people have to talk in class or something like that. The crazy part is "without distractions or prejudgement". It's pretty clear that they mean you can't say that racism is wrong, Nazis were bad, slavery was bad, etc.
This was my take in 2016 when Trump initially ran: The best way to shut down and frustrate a troll/bully is to completely ignore them. Main stream American media missed the assignment.
