oh, trying new shapes . i don't think i'm cut out for lino cutting! Love playing with the shapes though. But i'm no perfectionist.

The more I look at these images the more I like them x I have always liked fairy tales and there is something of the woods, stones and unknown things in these forms x

Fab x as I get older I find I am looking better at art no longer I think viewing other’s work with a competitive eye Which I now realise I did !

I find that each medium has its own nature (that’s a given I know) & yes ink is messy unpredictable - that’s exciting it’s the thing that makes it worth perusing after all digital can produce the nice clean line if needed I like that the cutter can miss its mark as well & pressure varies the look x

You're right. i never thought of it that way. the 'versus digital' thing. I overprint things, or quickly try out positions - it's slow learning that way, but it's what i like - the surprises! Thanks!

Sounds like you are more familiar with it than i am. someone gave me the first lot of lino i every had, and i just experimented. I don't like to see perfection first! it daunts me. Much more fun to play!
