I've drank only water in the past, need to get back to it. For me it's Diet Mtn Dew, which I know is not the best either.

I recommend seltzer honestly. No sugar, hydrating, but still has that carbonation
Plain seltzer is always my go to outside of water. (Otherwise my blood sugar monitor screams at me 😂)
It probably is better, I just don't like flavored or carbonated water. I am picky on that. But I do like plain old water. Drink soda right now for the caffeine. Get that boost. Not like it's healthy though.
