Non-sporty here but I read a little more about him--not on Twitter but a quick glance reveals that Krasnov's alliance with Russia would infuriate Czechs.

I assumed he was anti-Trump once you mentioned that he’s well-educated. He’s also quite outspoken in criticizing Russia’s authoritarian regime.
I assume that Buzz Aldrin is pretty well educated too, but he supports Trump. It's about character, not just education.
