This isn't complicated. "cause" is NOT a vague word in the employment law sense--nor undefined. Seven tests to meet for just cause firing date back to 1964. Trump has NOT met any of these tests. why not ask a current expert in this area--to inform readers? spa.unm.edu/about/people...

SCOTUS ignored all that in Trump v Wilcox. Law only matters when a Dem is in office.

yes...but SCOTUS also carved out an exception for the federal reserve in its decisions this spring, saying trump doesn't have to follow laws when he wants to fire someone.

The fact that their rationale is so arbitrary indeed demonstrates law is irrelevant. I don't expect them to hold Trump to any standard whatsoever.
