They aren't getting beaten to turn them good. They're getting beaten because they are doing bad things, and to remind them to take that shit somewhere else. Out here being captain save a Nazi. Absolutely not.

It doesn’t seem worth the effort, but since I first saw this story (around 2015?), I was struck by her willingness to do the right thing for someone who clearly hated her, and I admire her. She clearly showed who was superior between the two of them, and I hope he felt guilty as hell afterwards.
