i understand but there are ppl that will think it is bc of crime, and its not helpful to speak as tho crime isnt a problem bc its less than before. There is a narrative, or an attempt at making one, that the democrats dont care about crime & when they see democratic voters appearing to be fine
as though a high crime rate is acceptable bc its less than it was, but is still high, it reinforces this narrative for them. Ideally one would hope that logic & common sense wouldnt allow ppl to think there are ppl that are totally fine w/crime but such are the times in which we are living. I spoke
to someone I know when the subject was LA, trying to explain how their chosen news stations take photos of a riot limited to a very small area & portray it as though an entire city is on fire & out if control. I asked her why she thought the Gov of CA & the LA police would seek to minimize such
things....if the city really was on fire & out of control, & her reply was "idk, why did they (democrats) ignore it & let it happen in....cant remember but i think she said Milwaukee(?). Yes, she really believes that. Im just saying....point out the decrease in crime & its about getting ppl used to
military in the streets, or how its most likely DC bc neighborhoods where mostly POC live are being targetted or both. Anything other than speaking as tho the crime in DC isnt a big deal bc it has decreased. Its ok to acknowledge theres still a lot of crime in DC as well as the true reasons why the
president is sending military there.
Ppl can say whatever they want to. It will be hard enough for conserv voters to vote for a democrat anyway bc the gop did a lot of work for yrs to get ppl to be disgusted when they even think about democrats. Im sure if some see the authoritarian take over happening, surely...ahem, hopefully they
would vote for a democratic candidate in order to try to stop it, but there are things that will prevent them from doing so & fear is the biggest one. Its used often anyway, but pls let it come from those that seek to fool ppl is what i was trying to get at.
