For more than 47 yrs, a DC-area family has made the medals for the Kennedy Center Honors. They assembled more than 255 awards—mostly from the kitchen of their home. Trump has now booted them. Plastic medals made in China in Trump's likeness are no doubt in the works, designed by the First Tart.
They definitely won't have rainbow ribbons and will absolutely be dripping with fake gold.
White and gold will be the only colors if he is feeling “classy”. Botched up American flag will be his other choice
The ribbon holding the medal will be of Tiffany Blue polyester satin. With tax dollars paying royalties to Tiffany for each and every photograph of it.

PT Barnum = First Class Ass. Is this part of DOGE? How much money will be saved? Over the years if EACH medal had cost ONE MILLION DOLLARS for a total of $255 million, that amount is a rounding error in the scope of total federal spending. This year's medals would be a fraction of one golf trip.
Of course they went with Tiffany, which hasn't produced any interesting designs in decades, but is still the place where the nouveau riche shop to feel fancy
