Republicans are not waiting around in the gerrymandering battle. They're already targeting Missouri and Indiana. Dems can't afford to wait. States with Democratic governors & trifectas need to pick up their swords now.

Charles Munger, Jr is behind that group.
Yup, a red hat Donold’s boy
I received the same mailing today. GOP is NOT wasting time. This is scary. The mailing is tactically written. Even the League of Women Voters is opposed to mid-cycle redistricting. Dems better catch up or it will be worse than being left behind. People need to read Obama's supporting post.
Damn right
It's [D] Day for the downfall of Nazism.
Exactly! It's not like the GOP hasn't already shown us their playbook. Hell, they posted on the internet and bragged about it. Any blue state that is not pre-emptively planning for this inevitability is complicit.
Some for, some against. This a losing strategy. There is no time to debate the issue.
The League of Women Voters is against it. That is a very loud voice to which many listen, and for good reason, but this is a special circumstance at a very specific point in time. It is critical that we unify.
Oh yeah, they're influential. The issue is confusing to many: Why should we stoop to the GOP's level? kind of thinking. Of course, to the rest of us, if we don't do the same, we will lose more profoundly than thought before... What a cesspool we're in.
The flyer prominently displays 'PROTECT the Voters FIRST Act'. Established years ago specifically to combat gerrymandering. And the GOP is now pointing out that CA is attempting to take this Act away. Technically they are correct (but for a specific purpose). This is gonna be confusing to many.
OMG is it ever.
I love this idea.... bsky.app/profile/kate...
I read the flyer I received. All the words were right. All the sentiments were right. Not until the small print at the bottom of the back page did I see the name Charles Munger, and I had to really do some reading about him before I was sure.
Heard an interview with some guy on NPR saying blue states don't have enough seats to gerrymander to out number the red. Hope it's not true - we are in such a fucking mess.
