This is literally Fascism. It’s the “socialist” part of “national socialist” The Nazis did it with BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Volkswagen, and on and on. Mussolini called it “corporatismo” Open corruption and extortion.

Ah yes, a “new paradigm” for the government’s relationship with the private sector: making it no longer the private sector.
So much for the "free market"...
Even the fascists know people like socialism. So they stole the parts they could stomach. And they liked being able to exert control over corporations. American fascists literally just purged everyone who even smelled like a socialist for like 40 years. They tried to convince everyone it sucked.
I don’t feel like this is socialism. They (Trump & Co) are surely embezzling and insider trading like crazy, while stripping all social services and safety nets. Feels more like Russian Authoritarianism.
@denisedwheeler.bsky.social Good night, free market…
Whenever people speak of government private partnership, fascism is a danger.
@denisedwheeler.bsky.social It's not the expropriation we hope for. It is "National Socialism". Nazi Trump. Who will rise to the occasion?
Waiting for the stock market to crash, but it keeps running on pixie dust
