Ummm - it's a Constitutional Amendment with a short lifespan, and yes, getting voter OK is the definite way to do it lawfully. Voters put it there. Voters can amend it. How it works. 🙄
Exactly. The vote allows us to approve or disapprove it rather than just legislators. Calif is a direct democracy and we can edit our constitution with a vote.

👍 CA sometimes is a direct democracy, sometimes a republic. But this IS direct, and we all need to promote it. It isn't stripping us of power but GIVING it to us.
