An MLB game becomes official and can be called due to weather as long as it goes 5 full innings.
Yes it has to hit 5 innings, it still seems insane lol. At that point why not just make every game 5 innings if that's all that truly matters.

the infinity rules blow my mind too: there is no official size limit to the outfield. a game, if tied at the bottom of the inning, CAN go until one team exceeds runs over the other, ostensibly forever
