It’s so fun to me how Slavic languages overlap so much in words but not much in alphabets? And I think my grandma was threatening to whoop the TV dinner’s ass? Or maybe the oven’s?
Yeah! I remember her saying she could sort of understand a few other languages if she heard but not necessarily speak them. Also that totally makes sense - few things are more cathartic than cursing out some inanimate object that’s wronged you IMO.
