Fire Liverpool and their client journalists to the moon
What is Liverpool FC doing? They have already bought Ekitike who is EXACTLY THE SAME TYPE OF PLAYER AS ISAK. WHAT ARE THEY DOING ???? Just randomly loading up on Number 9s.
hihi Unless they want to try and really dominate. Like DOMINATE.
But dominating still requires thought. Both Isak and Ekitike doesn't make sense. So they would not have anyone to replace Jota and Diaz. They've just won the league with Jota and Diaz playing prominent roles. And they are acquiring Ekitike and Isak. ps But they have loaded up their midfield.
pps With Wirtz, Szoboszlai, Mac Allister and Gravenberch they do have TREMENDOUSLY STRONG MIDFIELD. And then with Ektitike and Isak they are sure to have F. GREAT Number 9 options. So it's like fail safe. I mean, it's something with them spending money left and right.
Ekitike and Isak are very, very different sort of players than Jota and Diaz. Very different. They will both be missed.
Diaz was a dynamo type of . F O R C E . on the left that could work through the middle too. He was a force. And Jota was a work-a-bee type of a forward very unlike both Ekitike and Isak. Diaz and Jota TOGETHER (with Salah) was something. Ekitike and Isak are very much your typical LAZY Number 9s.
Both Ekitike and Isak require service. Neither Diaz nor Jota required service. ps But with the loaded up midfield that I listed above Liverpool FC did load up those service options.
Ngumoha is seen as a replacement for Diaz. Nunez to leave too so that’s where Ekitike and possibly Isak will come in. Remember it was rare that Nunez & Jota played at the same time. Diaz wanted to leave so it made sense sell rather than have a player down tools…
+30 mill with add ons and he’s yours 👋 and that’s a steal considering you may now win the CL and the EPL was already a foregone conclusion before him
Don’t think the league is a foregone conclusion tbf. One injury to a centre back means Endo playing serious minutes there, or an injury to Gravenberch also means Endo coming in there. Both would be a serious drop in quality, especially if it’s a long term injury. Weird squad building tbh
He wants to leave, let him leave. There is no point in forcing a player to stay somewhere they dont want to be.
Seven years ago Liverpool sold Coutinho to Barcelona for £142m..... We should remind them of that. £120m cannot be serious.
Rumored that it’s £120+£20 add-ons. Could be an intro bid to say “hey, let’s talk”
I don't want anyone playing for us who doesn't want to be here but the Coutinho fee should be used as a reminder that they are having a laugh.🤡🤡🤡
Fair play, we’ll see where it goes
Newcastle asking stupid money for him. But I'd expect my club to do exactly the same. They want compensation. No need for them to sell for less than they want.
Wow TalkSPORT will be fewming - they’ve been selling the lad all week and excusing his horrendous kopite behaviour
£130m with Harvey Elliott included and that'd be tough to turn down.
Being reported it's not £120m and a way off Newcastle's valuation by Keith Downie
I get why NUFC fans are angry about Isak leaving because he's an excellent player, but there's a football food chain. Everton or Sociedad sell to NUFC, who sell to LFC, who sell to Barca or Real Madrid. That's how it works, get over it.
We need to get this done quickly and then turn our attention to Rodrygo to replace Diaz and then Guehi to replace Quansah.
£150m and we need to sign his replacement FIRST, or there's no deal.
the dance begins.
Did they reject or rebuff the offer?
Nothing will be accepted until 2 new strikers are bought in, we're not going to leave ourselves with only one inexperienced striker
Not enough clearly 😂 Liverpool is going bananas. Will really have to splash the cash.
Love the cope from Newcastle fans. Your star boy is on strike because your owners won't buy any players fellas
They’ve been trying to buy players to be fair, but they are trying to shop in the big boys market when basically no top player in their right mind would want to live in Newcastle. Shop a level below in the Elanga level market and they wouldn’t have this issue!
Don't think it's the location. They attracted players others were also interested in a few years ago. Think it's a bit of a feedback loop where players can see a lack of ambition so don't want to go there, which makes them look like they've got no ambition etc
That’s true as well tbf, and doesn’t help that they’re an absolute mess behind the scenes with no DoF. I do think location plays a part though, as we’ve seen this with LFC as well to an extent with players rejecting them but going to Chelsea on lower wages due to the London factor
It always amuses me when the English accuse players of “taking the money” to go to places like the Saudi Pro League.
Did you reply to the wrong comment? This discussion has nothing to do with what you’re talking about?
The discussion is the disadvantages of playing outside of London. Point being, players from warmer climates don’t grow up dreaming of playing in places like Newcastle or Liverpool
It's the north of England pal not the peat bogs of Finland ya arsey dickhead
I like how you insulted Finland. Such an English mindset. If it wasn’t for money, no South American would ever wanna play in any English city outside of London
I insulted only the peat bogs. Newcastle and Liverpool are nice cities. You are a racist
Once the player decides to leave there's no turning back, just a matter of time
