Can't help feel this is going to end badly for villa. Either we end up with an unhappy Dibu who's burned bridges with the club. Or we go for Lammens who would see us as a significant step down from joining Man U (perhaps even not coming)

Feel like the issue with the Lammens deal for Utd has always been the club rather than the player. But we would have sounded his interest out before this was reported as a possibility, Martinez to Utd has been a possibility all summer.
