Corruption FC
Headline should read: “Hollow Fulham-based club bending as many rules as possible while everyone acts like it is completely normal and within bounds”
The amt of people losing their minds is incredible. It's unusual to exercise a buy back clause so quickly but FIFA rules allow this. Not sure how this is corrupt or laundering, round tripping. Maybe reading rules and laws and going back in time will reveal while rare this has happened previously.

This is abysmal behaviour by Chelsea. Absolutely abysmal. The PL should throw the book at them. But of course, they won't.
Doesn’t sound at all dodgy.
It really is coming down to who has the best legal team at this point. Call it out or you're as bad as them.
Money laundering
Let's all remember that the player himself was involved. He definitely greed to do his part. So basically, our club is well rid of an obvious scumbag.
Does anyone have the cost of each deal? And could anyone explain how either team stands to benefit from this?
Chelsea benefit because it removes the sell on clause that Everton had for him. If he develops as expected, that will likely cost Everton a lot of money down the line.
But is that really worth the hassle? Seems like penny pinching in the grand scheme of things.
Sure, but they did it anyway!
This is totally not money laundering.
You gonna call out how this is corrupt?
This is just naked corruption. @UEFA @FA @FIFA do something please
What is going on here? #UEFA, #FIFA, is anyone interested enough to investigate this kind of deal or are we meant to just turn a blind eye and accept it is all legit? @philippeauclair.bsky.social
