Here’s the thing: she was a USAF vet. If she didn’t have a dishonorable discharge or any felony convictions, she cannot be denied a military funeral. Those are the rules. Sad but true.

She was not charged and convicted posthumously. I’d not heard that she was denied a military funeral. I’ll see if I can find another reference.
