I will note that Schumer putting some throat clearing about how he doesn't agree with everything Mahmoud Khalil has said got folks saying insane stuff about Schumer wanting him black bagged, but Bernie Sanders says that he fully supports Trump extorting Intel & it's all good.
Schumer was also 100% correct, you should not agree with everything Khalil said, he said some vile shit. But that makes it even more important to protect his human rights, because it matters how you treat everyone, not just your friends.
it's just wild how, after Khalil doing so much to help elect Trump, that Trump would go after him.

Bernie Sanders is more comfortable with state influence of private companies than others. Why would this be surprising? I think he would draw the line in talk about a sovereign wealth fund.
I mean, I can't speak for Nied, but *I'm* not actually ideologically opposed to government involvement and/or ownership of private companies either! It's just that (a) I'm not automatically *supportive* of it either, and (b) it should be done legally, not by Presidential fiat!
I think there is a theoretical case for the government to run something like a screw factory or a commodity motor factory.
