Perhaps. But, the successful politicians keep demonstrating that authenticity and plain language work. We should focus on this and not the exact words.
You are assuming we all agree on the definition of poor. Being poor in a major metro area is different than being poor in rural agricultural areas.
This has zero to do with my point.
