One of these guys actually lived a Game of Thrones kind of life. The left is Sebastián de Morra, a court dwarf and jester at the court of Philip IV of Spain. It was painted around 1644 and is now in the Prado in Madrid. Now I wonder how many people in history looked like me.

So here's the conspiracy... de Morra was befriended by a dragon in the 1600s, which used magic to prevent him from aging. He's had to reinvent himself a few times throughout history, becoming today the actor we know as Peter Dinklage. GoT was his concept and the dragons are real...
