1. He's hiding his right hand from the camera. 2. Most of the "gold" isn't real, it was created by South Florida cabinetmaker John Icart. It's MDF wall trim with gold spray paint. A few of the mantel pieces are real gold. 3. He's bragging about gold when most people are struggling to buy food.
No amount of gold or gilding will make this monster better in the eyes of the people whose lives he destroys through his casually disregard for our Constitution, the rule of law, and even Christianity. It is all a dirty power trip.

I went through the Legislature in Victoria BC & they have a dome that is tastefully covered in gold. The tour guide mentioned how it really didn't cost that much even though it looks expensive. That's what I think of every time a new gold object lands in the White House, shinny without substance.
