It has only made it thru House so far. Call your Senators and encourage a NO vote on S128. Tell them it hurts seniors and women and is a violation of 24th Amendment as it requires people to get docs that cost money. It is a poll tax.

Especially if your Senator is a GOPer. Or Chuck Schumer, which is much the same thing. There are some GOP senators who are beginning to see how damaging this whole shitshow is for their chances of remaining Senators. Which is all they are interested in.

I’m NC so I’m “blessed” with two. Tillis is a disappointment most times…talks the talk but lacks the walk. Up for reelection and will occasionally surprise you by doing the right thing. Ted Budd is a lost cause tho I still call his office almost daily.

I know Wiley Nickel has announced a run, and I’m guessing Gov. Cooper will throw his name in, too, on the Democratic primary ticket. Not sure who will primary Thom Tillis. Call Tillis and Budd now as much as possible. The Budget Bill has only passed the House. Gotta pass Senate, too.
