Our new boys are the first of 12 cats over the years that give us hassle into the carrier. New trick, fold them in half sort of and keep them facing me as they go in, magic.

Ah. I will try that next time. Penny sent me to the ER once when I tried to put her in the carrier. Now the vet just comes here for her 🤣. She's a former feral and likely developed some survival skills that make her a bit more feisty

I have the great, but old, cat carrier that the front drops down, like a door, so that you have a wide entry for them. Bonnie fights hard--so glad we had her nails clipped recently. I'll try the fold and face maneuver in a few minutes. Fingers crossed! Thanks for the suggestion!
