You might want to read your posts with a eye to people that don’t know you and have never read anything else you’ve written. Your post hits different than you think it does
It's pretty clearly about the UK government's newly announce subsidies for electric cars, and my belief that the money would be more efficiently spent on subsidising electric bikes. That is radically different to saying that nobody ever needs a car.
So the money would be better spent on the mobility of people who generally have good access to public transport, to bike-friendly environments, to rental bikes and scooters, and who are able to ride a bike. Leaving the folks who don’t have these to drive ICE vehicles.
