I haven't proposed a one size fits all solution, that's something you're making up and attributing to me to be mad for some reason.

It's pretty clearly about the UK government's newly announce subsidies for electric cars, and my belief that the money would be more efficiently spent on subsidising electric bikes. That is radically different to saying that nobody ever needs a car.

So the money would be better spent on the mobility of people who generally have good access to public transport, to bike-friendly environments, to rental bikes and scooters, and who are able to ride a bike. Leaving the folks who don’t have these to drive ICE vehicles.
