What is it called?

Well, in Sweden there’s big, public fires on April 30th for Valborg (Walpurgis eve), meant to “drive out winter” &c. Since living there, we’ve adapted the tradition, organizing smaller, private backyard-fires/get-togethers (Smallborgs) at different times of year (i.e. Fallborg) as needed.

Ha! Smallborgs, I love it. Definitely going to adopt this practice! Oh, to be in Sweden, burning remnants of things I want to leave behind.

I think it’s a beautiful tradition!
