Ashford is exactly who we're talking about when we discuss how endless eligibility and addiction to the portal has harmed QB development in college football. But there are 15 guys like this every year

Texas A&M's entire QB room in 2022 is still in college football. all of em. one of em is a damn tight end at vanderbilt now! he was first team all sec last year!
you see, that's what these guys should be doing. phil jurkovec tried this a few years ago but sadly not until he had wrecked a season by trying to play QB
i think they need to also explore a name change to reflect their growth phase. like, robby ashford should be robert ashford now
honestly think this *might* solve itself as teams go to more true front offices like professional sports have and start thinking "hey, we've got money for a QB, do we really wanna spend it on a guy who completes 52 percent of his passes?"
He's the kind of guy you should feel great about as a QB2 at a major program. Lots of experience, the moment will never be too bright, he's seen a lot of systems, etc
To be fair, the job market is getting pretty tough out there
Gotta start holding coaches and programs accountable eventually. Like, how bad is your development if you thought this was the way?
Found out today drew pyne has 2 years left of eligibility
Bryce Young is going to be NFL pension eligible before fellow class of 2020 QB Drew Pyne expends his college eligibility.
He still has TWO years????
WHAT
this cross-sport stuff is out of control too
Are you thinking of Tyler Buchner lol
lol sure was
