I didn’t have a problem with that. In the 4-team playoff era it’s seemed objectively clear Florida State weren’t one of the best 4 teams despite their record. Maybe Alabama weren’t either but they won the toughest conference.

Brent Key is the simple answer. Without the pressure of replacing Saban, he'd thrive. Bringing back physicality to a program that has revolved around finesse recently is the path to Bama becoming Bama again.

No they didn't. 12-1 power conference champ absolutely deserves a spot over an undefeated G6 team like FSU. Only way that doesn't hold is if the G6 team beat them head to head.
