How many of Bama's 10 worst losses of the last 20 years have Kalen DeBoer accounted for in 1.1 seasons? Three, I think. Maybe three of the worst six.

I'll wait and see how FSU is this year But minimum Vandy and OU
Four lmao
What if I told you that FSU is actually a better team in 2025? Preseason rankings are based on nothing other than history.
Getting bullied up front for three quarters is a Bad Loss for bama. 14 points is also pretty bad by bama/saban standards.
OU, Vandy, and today. Buddy actually might be coaching for his job by season’s end. Not saying he should be, but that’s just the reality of today’s game.
He baled on Washington days after taking them to the national championship game. He’ll bale on bama before they fire him.
Oklahoma was simply the better team
As a Washington fan, I thought I was past DeBoer schadenfreude. Turns out, I absolutely am not.
I’m happy for him and bama. Especially after he baled on the Huskies just days after taking them to the National Championship game following an unbeaten regular season…karma’s a bitch.
i mean now i'm gonna ask, what are the other three of those six
ULM, Ole Miss (Bo Wallace version), and Utah in the bowl game. Off the top of my head
Stephen Garcia, ULM, Zach Calzada?
Utah beating them to death with hammers was in that group too
I guess it depends on what you mean by “worst” bc I would have included the kick six and 2018 Clemson
Chad Kelly (2×)?
the hard part of this, i suppose, is whether it matters if the loss impacted what Bama did that season
You can argue over the when, but last year plus today really ought to put paid to the presumption that there's something special about Alabama and that they deserve extra playoff consideration. Michigan beat them without a quarterback! The ULM loss is just funny.
No but it matters if it felt like it would.
The Manziel Game?
i don't see that as a bad loss. sometimes you're on the business end of an all-time performance
‘06 Mississippi State (3-9, 1-7 in conference) worse than South Carolina, right? Mike Price of it all be damned.
Shula, not Price. Whoops.
Oh yeah Calzone baby
LA-Monroe falls in that time period
Did the exercise because distractions were needed bsky.app/profile/nic-...
What’s your list. OU, Vandy, ?
Oklahoma was terrible
Yeah, but curious what is 3 of KDB on your list. Trying to come up with the full six, ha
ULM, the one A&M game with Calzada at QB, and maybe the South Carolina game. Just top of head.
That Calzada game was textbook “Oh shit! We’re in trouble” like 10 minutes in. Other worldly QB games don’t really count for me mostly because that’s what it took to beat a prime Saban team
You seem like a Bama fan What are your thoughts on Simpson? Guy looks pretty talented Better than what we saw from Arch

This, the bowl, and OU?
Vandy
This mostly shows just how spoiled Bama fans have been lol
Their next coach will do worse. Today, tradition matters for naught when the opponents have more money.
ReliaQuest Bowl on that list?
nah
Forgot all about that one
There’s a reason that Saban quit. In the era of the NIL, recruits can make more money and win in places more exciting and much less racist than Alabama. It has nothing to do with DeBoer.

Plus this
Vandy, FSU, Michigan, OU
As a noted Alabama hater I think the Vandy and Oklahoma losses from last year are worse than the ULM loss. Maybe recency bias but that 07 team didn’t have anything resembling the talent they had last year.
I'm at 4...and counting. Getting boat-raced by Vandy, Oklahoma, Michigan and FSU in a year and change isn't what anyone signed up for.
No argument but who’s the better coach they should’ve hired? I honestly thought they would be better. Personally think it’s Simpsonvs deboer
In hindsight, a coach like Brent Key, an ex-Bama assistant, for whom physicality is a bedrock, would've done wonders with Bama's resources. Of course hindsight is superhero vision 🤷🏾♂️
Is bama cooked?
Absolutely sautéed! Both lines of scrimmage have been riding the Struggle Bus for years...and the entire LB room decide to get on at the first stop this year. Castellanos is a tailback who happens to call cadence and the had him looking like pre-Sex Pest Deshaun Watson out there.
GO NOLES!!!!!!!!
He should DeBoer himself underground since he’s already buried IYAM
As a UW fan , it does my heart good to see him fall flat on his face
