Explain to me how you would have known without Snowden. I find very strange the amount of far-right troll making sure that leftist, blacks and minorities are left out of the power of law enforcement. Actual people that do that are the KKK and racists.
When the laws are capitalist and white supremacist, any leftist or minority who starts trying to enforce them are simply enforcing capitalism and white supremacy. Who they are doesn't matter, their role as a law enforcement official leads them to inevitably enforce that oppression.
Sounds very smart, a lot of complicated words. I'm more practical, if you are black and arrest someone black, you don't have to put your knee on his throat. If cops have guns, now you have guns too. You join the force, and then you can police your community the way you think is best.

Someone is giving orders, "just" climb the ladder. Also, there is a difference between being there and intentionally (and illegally) target a journalist in the head, for instance.
The orders come from the law, which is that of a bourgeois, white-supremacist state. The fact no cops resisted that kind of behaviour from other cops should be a lesson on the effectiveness of joining the police to change them.
