You’re exactly right. It’s like when a theory is disproved, that means it must be true! I see it all the time. It’s not logical. They don’t care if they get caught; they just don’t like getting punished, and they pretty much never do.

This impugns those who coddle, forgive in advance, and continue to invite them to the usual social functions. That is permission. It helps normalize the depravity by accepting their dominance and our submission to it, through no accountability.

The brave do what needs to be done, kick Trumpers to the curb where they belong. Not to dominate them. They are equals. Nevertheless we must completely reject their bullshit, or else submit to it. Even at the permanent expense of relationships.
