When I was training at Harvard, my mentor would often secretly bring her three mini dachshunds into work. Then she started letting me bring my Boston on long days so I could walk him mid day. Patients LOVED it!!! despite it being against the rules 😂

I love this so much I had a boss yrs ago who brought her dog to the office every day. It was fantastic! We eventually had to write a schedule for who got to walk him for breaks, because there was too many arguments about who got to 🤭

Dogs are antidepressants/sunshine. People almost always smile. I was treating a few hospice patients, and they'd always smile and pet my dog when he was in office. He did more for them than I did most likely.

You can also leave early if there’s a chance of thunderstorms because your dog is scared of them.
