I was just minding my own business on Instagram, looking at cats and stationary, when a video of a white father who was being accused of cheating on his wife because his baby son isn't white. Note: His wife is black. He was much nicer about it than I can ever be at this point.
I've lived the life that every good person on this planet would never want for his son. I'm not polite anymore to people who do this. I will Team Rocket every loser who does this right into the sun at this point. I don't care whose feelings I hurt.
I am not less of a person because I am black and white. Neither one of them is a dilution of anything, or a pollution of anything. Every part of me is desirable, treasured, and holy. There is no incompatibility. There is no mistake. There is nothing unwanted or unfortunate about me.
The same is true for every mixed race person, no matter what combinations of cultures, ethnicities, and races make their being. They are beautiful amalgamations of humanity made in the image of God. And no amount of so-called purity would make them better off than they already are.
There is no such thing as a person who is not an amalgamation of some kind. Everyone is made of a mixture of families. Even within races, we are mixtures of tribes and clans, countries and nationalities, cultures and traditions. We are all mixed in some way. Purity is a myth.
And those who feel the greatest need to monitor and police the purity of others for any reason are deeply insecure about their place in their own society. They need to scramble on top of others to make it to the top of the pile, in a contest of their own invention.
No amount of rejection and policing of others will ever make someone feel loved, accepted, or valued. You can never get enough of something that doesn't fill you, that you don't need. Being small and hateful is a choice.
And let me say this: For how much white people understand this about purity culture and sexuality, they are still helpless and absurd about this when it comes to race. How you treat mixed race people is the ultimate reflection of how racist you are. Full stop.
Why? Because this was the end goal of racial social engineering and eugenics. This was the purpose of Jim Crow and the KKK. This was the whole purpose of segregation: To prevent interracial relationships and mixed race children.
If seeing mixed race relationships and the children that come from them seems wrong to you, if they are undesirable to you or make you uncomfortable, if it's something you think you should try to prevent: Congratulations. You found the ugly in your own soul. Go deal with it.
I'm so sorry you have to deal with this. People are people. They come in different colors, sizes, ethnic backgrounds, races, religions, genders, etc., etc. Everyone deserves to be treated with dignity and respect. Don't let the haters get you down and keep on posting about this.
