Either Netanyahu is stupid or he knew these air strikes would never be enough to destroy Iran's nuclear program. Since I don't think he's stupid, he knew it and did this for internal politics and to distract from the catastrophe in Gaza. He doesn't care about the consequences.

Reckon the military's doing that lackadaisical thing they did at Trump's parade where they turn up, but don't put in any effort. Trump: "I command you to take out Iran's nuclear sites!" Military: "(Yawn) We'll hop right on it." *Later* Trump: "Did you destroy them? Military: "Sure, whatever."

Trump will just disagree. And everyone will be like “oh then Trump is right!”
