In non-apocalyptic news, listening to NIN's Pretty Hate Machine after some time, and every single track is a banger. Such a good album.

My 24 year old recently discovered NIN…it’s fun reliving that thrill of new music vicariously!
Seeing them soon in Portland.
Thinking about it, but it’s a bit of a haul to get there and means a couple of days in a hotel. They’re worth it, and I haven’t seen them in a while.
Sin ❤️
A tangent - J Cash cover of "Hurt" is a top 10 song for me.
Sadly, I had to pass on seeing NIN live two days ago and been on a listening binge since 🖤
Sin is underrated
Yes, Trent/NIN were so far ahead of their time IMO.
They’re brilliant.
i always have to skip head like a hole and down in it, due to overplayed by a friend, but the rest can always be on heavy rotation for me.
I know what I'm listening to while I "Zamboni" the floors at work tomorrow.
My 20-something coworker had never heard of industrial music, I played Head Like A Hole and she said wow yeah never heard anything like that before This is a person with a masters degree, like what are they even teaching kids in school anymore
Those were the days (sighhhhh)…
Amazing what one guy with a DAW on his computer can do!
Going to see them next month with my kids.
You're a pundit of rare skill and courage, to all appearances an exceptional human being, but we absolutely could not have been friends in high school.
Would be good protest songs.
🙏 Amen🙏
nice, definitely got tracks
The Downward Spiral feels appropriate. (And is also quite good)
I have been listening lately as well. It's amazing!
Absolutely amazing album. Crazy to think that released in 1989 and still sounds ahead of its time.
Been a fan since I stumbled onto a CD single of 'Head Like A Hole' on its release date. Best blind CD purchase ever.
Still waiting for the people who bow down to money to get what they deserve
It is so, so solid.
Spot on, man. I roar the lyrics to “Down In It” and “Head Like A Hole” while frequently listening to it on my morning commute. Sets me up for the workday!
god money let’s go dancing on the backs of the bruised
Should have been named Petty Hate Machine
the soothing sounds of Nine Inch Nails lolsob
I just recently did this and totally agree.
I might be alone in this but I'm super-excited for this new "Tron" movie in no small part because the score is being done by Nine Inch Nails.
What I've heard of it so far has been great.
💯
1989. It's impossible to believe it's an 80's record, but... I WANT SO MUCH, TO BELIEVE!
One of my all time faves. 🤘
