Americans must wake up and DEMAND Congress raise taxes so we can keep the services and programs we have all come to rely on and that we love. Today, it is PBS/NPR. Tomorrow, it will SS and Medicare. The warning signs are there.

The US will never recover from the damage that was done the last 7 months

Every Republican policy hurts their voters more. And yet, it keeps happening. They keep voting for these guys because they'd rather fill in the public pool with concrete instead of share it with someone not like them.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. We need a blue state tax revolt. The red states can't survive without the money sent to the federal government from the blue states. Every state should start an escrow account and we can deposit our federal tax money in it.

Whoever becomes the Dem nominee must be a steamroller a la Trump prepared to demolish all of the detritus he leaves behind. They must aim to rebuild without niceties, apologies or permission. They must be a ruthless, fearless force for good. No one less should win our support.
