The only real 'silver lining' is that without a major figurehead fascistic movements tend to collapse to in-fighting. Even now as Trump's health gets worse I imagine there's internal talks and fights we're unaware of, battle lines being drawn, for when Trump is out of the picture.
Problem that is still there in either case is that fascists can cause a lot of death and destruction before that happens, and they'll burn down as much as possible even before Trump dies, let alone after he's gone. The only uniting factor for em is hate, even without a figurehead, they always hate.
