True. Badenoch almost certainly won't last as leader until the GE and I wouldn't be surprised if Starmer ends up going before then as well. Also question whether Advance (more like "Retreat") might take off with Yaxley-Lennon support taking a chunk of the Deform vote with them?

I think if Starmer goes by the next election, we might as well pack up and go as a country and accept we are just being governed by media barons. Cameron. May. Johnson. Truss. Sunak. Starmer. Another. All come and gone within the blink of an eye. Maybe the whole country has ADHD and can’t settle.

Exactly and once Starmer has gone they’ll start on the new leader and that could make what Starmer faces seem like a picnic. A huge part of Labour winning again won’t just be delivery, it’ll be staying the course-‘we’re not quitters’.

Yes, quite. Labour will fight the next election on its record in office, since Governments generally lose elections, Oppositions don’t win them. If we have failed to deliver manifesto commitments through missteps, then we won’t deserve a second term. But I think we will deliver, so it’s game on.
