Witnessing hypocrisy in real time... At a restaurant where a homeless person was asked to leave... A big table with a Bible study group of 6/7 folks watched it happen... They are now talking about how they are going to help the fallen in God's name while reciting Bible verses... 🙄

I'm mocking prayer. It does nothing, and never has done anything. It's an empty gesture. The least one can do. It says "I don't give a fuck those children died, fuck em. Thanks, NRA, for my fat check so I can buy more guns and pose with them in family photos this Christmas".
For many people it has been a way to cope with sheer evil. But as an agnostic I defend their right to have faith. I just hope they respect mine.
