Other times I just write new lyrics that other songs just something to keep my lyrics consistent thruout the song, which allows them to fit to music parts I write later. I just make it a habit to have the starts of tons of things and then make them fit each other
I’ll have like phrases or something I want to use and make music that fits it and then go from there for sure. But like.. writing a poem or something and then trying to get it to fit right just always leaves me wanting you know?? Man I love LOVE talking to people who do it different. It’s so cool
I am SO FUCKING PARTICULAR when it comes to.. like… how a word sounds. Every part of a song has to have the right sound. Including the words and the vowel noises and everything. And I feel like I can’t know that until I’ve become familiar with a song. Or the full orchestration you know?
