Interior Alaskan here- 2004 is what opened our eyes to the tinder box we live in. 6,600,000 acres in just 701 fires. Nowadays we anticipate summers with trepidation as we supposed to have more and more forest fires. Having the bare minimum packed for evacuation isn’t unusual anymore either.
Yeah but climate collapse doesn’t exist your country anymore. Erase that artificial border and join us, buddy.
We have a go bag packed including pet supplies (we rotate out for freshness). This past week alone, 6 fires in our county 🥺
