R doesn't have much choice but to sit still today. We had a little rau about him not taking care of his painful back, and he has finally settled on the sofa and is reading. Yesterday's visit was nice. The food was good and people wandered in and out be ause the weather was really nice. Leftovers
tonight. I am puttering with crafts and plants today. I keep thinking about getting a new pot for the giant basil and then opt not. We shall see. The men made a comment about how, after 12 years I have finally put something on the walls. Haha For years I didn't because I am choosy and don't want
any old thing hanging forever. I have put a lot of old things up tho. Iron work, cast-iron pans, cookware, fossils and stones...old things. It very quiet, and breezy right now. Feels good to sit in it. 💚💚💚
I am the same. I didn't have things on my walls even though I had brought some from Jersey. But now I am having fun with it. I had concentrated on my yard. I recall the stones giving you some pushback but then magical beauty.
My office floor got finished yesterday, so I can clean up and maybe put stuff on the walls. Might still wait. Not sure where I have my Korean scrolls stored. Need to think about repairing holes and painting the guest room. When that floor gets finished, we’ll move into it and,
finally finish the main bedroom and bathroom. The guy just finished the last drywall in the shop and so is giving J the drywall sheet holder thingy, which is fantastic. J is an incredibly good craftsman and deserves all the $ we can throw his way.
Very nice. I am like that too. Gave my contractor my step ladder which c'mon I am never going to use. He was delighted.

Poor R. So sorry for him. That is how Labor Day is supposed to be celebrated. We had wicked winds and huge black clouds here. Thought the festival would get washed out. But of course, no rain. Grrr.
