Oh pears! Hubs make a pear loaded clafoutis that is seasoned with ginger 3 ways! Also core scoped out & chopped pecans, blue cheese & thyme filled cavity. Broil to melt & balsamic drizzle to serve. We like on spinach or lettuce m!
If you use red wine and a cinnamon stick they are so good. Look cool when you dig in and they are red outside and white inside. I reduce the wine to a syrup then to drizzle over.
