I know this'll never happen but they would lose their minds if they found out what the plot of Silent HIll 3 was actually about and the themes behind it all.

Silent Hill 1 & 3 are literally about the importance of abortion accessibility. Harry Mason literally gives an adult victim of CSA a medicated abortion through exorcism, and then Heather ends her own divinely mandated pregnancy years later. These guys are whining about games they’ve never played. 😆

Part of the problem with 1 and 3 is the cult stuff to some. Don't get me wrong the cult stuff in Silent Hill is interesting but people kinda just ignore those games because of 2 dropping the cult for a psych exam. 3's enemy designs continue said practice and 1 to a lesser extent but cult = bad.

Because to be frank, they don't care about anything besides the surface level look at what the games about and even then they fail to notice it alot. Remember when they got pissed off at Rage Against the Machine or when they finally realised that The Boys was making fun of them 4 seasons in.

As an actual Silent Hill fan - like the complete package - with awful opinions and dumb fan rage at later games I just have to say "Ha - these losers are pissed off and it's hilarious." Meanwhile I am super excited. We haven't had a proper female lead since 3 and 3 was my favorite.

Honestly, a lot of the time it's pretty obvious they don't even know anything about the media they're complaining about. Like, I don't think a single one of 'em could name a Rage song, including the one with the "fuck you I won't do what you tell me" refrain they keep failing to dunk on them with.
