I think it was about £40 for a year of Channel 4 without adverts and honestly I think I'd pay it every year now, it removes such a barrier to trying things now that you aren't psychologically committing to a 3 minute wait

I cancelled it as I could not get it to work on my Sony tv, whether with or without ads, just constantly freezing and buffering. Had no issue with any of the other services. A shame as want to introduce the kids to Taskmaster!
