Every single time I go to look at Twitter there's about 20 notifications and it's mostly Tommy Robinson. I don't follow him, I don't follow any of his admirers, and yet that's who it wants me to see. Astonishing that the UK government's position on this platform remains "it's fine"

The UK government has a presence on Twitter, but not Bluesky. It speaks volumes that a Labour administration is more fearful of the reception it would get here than there.

Exactly the same thing happened to me when I signed up for an account with default settings/no follower/following no-one. The first tweet I saw was Elon Musk, the second was Tommy Robinson. The platform is clearly designed to push fringe-right propaganda.
I left Xitter as I didn't want to be fed this garbage.
