Canceling Senior's Medicaid will end payments to their Nursing Homes. Are you ready for your parents to move in? What about elders with no kids? Can you provide 24/7 healthcare and nursing for them at home? How will you work?

For those that cannot afford a nursing home, this is a reality. We've been caregivers for 6 yrs to an elderly parent, & I can't begin to describe the financial destruction it has caused in our life, because one of us had to make a choice, either care for the parent or work, we could not do both.

Trust me. It can’t be done without help. This will result in neglect, abuse, & unhoused seniors. It’s shortsighted because in the end, the govt will have to pay anyway.

The other thing is that many of the residents are not senior citizens. They are young to middle age people with things like TBI and behavioral/mental health issues. The facility is their permanent home. Not ideal, but what alternative without Medicaid?

The newspeak term for these people is “slackers.”

As a senior there are two things I’d prefer never to do if I can help: 1) go in a nursing home and 2) be forced to live with my kids, i.e., be a burden. This regime is leaving many without options bc cruelty is the point. Everything is designed to make us poorer and less safe and sicker.

Cruelty is the result. The goal is to provide tax cuts to billionaires by stealing the money from all these programs.

As a senior, I've always been happy that I have no children. I can't imagine the guilt I'd have to live with for forcing this toilet of a world on them.

Yes- I would be perfectly happy if I have no grandkids for this reason

We have our first grandchild and another coming very soon. The joy he brings is indescribable!! But I worry so much about the world he/they will be living in.

Every generation has these same thoughts.

Yes. None of us has been through anything this extreme before. We've had bad people in charge as often as not, but this is a death cult that just wants to watch us all suffer and die.
