Birth control pills etc. are used for things other than contraception. I was on the pill to shrink ovarian cysts. It saved me from having expensive and painful surgery. We have a right to medical care.

And – menopause. Birth control pills are used as hormone replacement therapy in menopause. My estrogen would drop so low that it robbed my bones of calcium and gave me osteopenia. BC pills were my treatment.
