The stair is a bit rusted. Might need some paint. The building, built during the US civil war and abandoned in the great depression, had ~40 layers of paint and ~20 layers of wallpaper in many of the rooms.
Anyway, the history is an interesting counterpoint to Vancouver, where single fam homes 8yrs old are torn down to rebuild a new single fam home because we let the land value outpace the allowed density...
When do you think we can build a Multiplex or 1FSR on an RT lot? There are many large RT Lots without character homes on them which are still forced to build duplex or small houses that look like they were from 1900
